Karen Kevorkian has published two poetry collections, her new one Lizard Dream (What Books Press) and White Stucco Black Wing (Red Hen Press). Her poetry and fiction appear in Antioch Review, Agni Review, Massachusetts Review, Quarterly West, Virginia Quarterly Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Mississippi Review, Witness, VOLT, Shenandoah, Fiction International, and other places. She now teaches poetry and fiction writing at UCLA, and previously taught at the University of Virginia after moving from San Francisco. She’s held fellowships at a number of artists’ colonies, most recently the Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos. kkevorkian@humnet.ucla.edu
