Miguel Noh
Coming out at the age of 18, I reflect back to my experiences being raised in a strong Catholic-Mexican-Immigrant household. My poetry is just that, a crash and mesh of all my identities: religion, culture, and sexuality. My work is a hybrid of natural imagery and sound. I enjoy identifying myself as a gay poet, and I enjoy working with themes of belonging, endurance, and compassion, while exploring what it means to be human.
