Sarah Maclay is the author of The White Bride (University of Tampa Press, 2008) and Whore (2004), which received the Tampa Review Prize for Poetry, as well as three limited edition chapbooks. Her poems, essays and reviews have appeared in numerous publications, including American Poetry Review, FIELD, Ploughshares, The Writers’ Chronicle, VerseDaily, The Best American Erotic Poems: 1800 to the Present and Poetry International, where she serves as book review editor. A multiple Pushcart nominee, she received a special mention in The Pushcart Prize XXXI. She lives in Venice, California, and teaches creative writing and literature at Loyola Marymount University.
