Shawna Taklender
Shawna Taklender was born and raised in West Hills, CA. She has been fortunate enough to travel around the world, living for a period of time in both Florence, Italy and Zurich, Switzerland. In 1998, she earned a B.A. in Art History from the University of California at Berkeley. Her artwork continues to explore her love and fascination of pattern, shape, and color. Relying heavily on the endless inspiration nature has to offer, her unique style features layers of organic shapes, powerful colors and linear beauty.
