Trista Payte
Trista Payte is finishing up her Masters in Creative Writing at California State University Northridge where she also teaches and works as a Writing Consultant. She has been cultivating a love affair with words since she was three, when her mother graciously adorned her bedroom walls with chalkboard paint. There will be no turning back; theirs is a romance of infinitude. She finds her poetic inspiration in everything, from the sound of wet tires on the freeway to screaming children in the grocery store, but she has been known to carry Rachel Zucker, Nin Andrews, and Michael Dickman around for creative inspiration as well.
