It’s hard
not to watch it grow,
and smile, and follow
this imposing figure, that bows
its head, when ready to release its seed.
Catholic priests can be like that.
On the news, I hear,
they share of themselves
like water from an aspergill.
So I too will bow my head
when I let go, in the moment,
and God–
He makes his look like bloom.
